Grants for Junior Scholars

The USC-SJTU Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry (hereinafter referred to as ICCI) of SJTU is proud to announce the ability to award travel funds that may be used to attend 2021 International Conference on Global Cultural and Creative Industries. Awards will be selectively administered on a merit basis. Each individual award will be capped given the decision of the academic committee as follows:

Grant A:￥10,000 per person (The conference committee will sponsor one recipient who travels into China from overseas; The recipient will be reimbursed for travelling and accommodation expenses up to 10,000 RMB after the conference ends)
Grant B ￥5,000 per person (The conference committee will sponsor two recipients who travels into China from overseas; The recipient will be reimbursed for travelling and accommodation expenses up to 5,000 RMB after the conference ends)
Grant C ￥1,000 per person (The conference committee will sponsor ten recipients who travel to this conference within China; The recipient will be reimbursed for travelling and accommodation expenses up to 1,000 RMB after the conference ends)

To be eligible for this award, you must:

In the pursuit of a PHD degree or hold relatively limited professional experience in the higher education fields (typically 5 years or less)
Have your abstract accepted by the academic committee and submit the full paper on time
Attend 2021 International Conference on Global Cultural and Creative Industries (adhere to local COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures)

To apply for this award, you must submit a signed 2021 International Conference on Global Cultural and Creative Industries Travel Grant Application Form along with your paper submission. The deadline is 15 June 2021. Please submit the application by email, or the online submission. You will be notified by 15 July, 2021 if your grant is approved.
